About ThePanjabLibrary
Preserving the literary soul of Panjab for future generations.
A Free Digital Library for Punjabi Literature
ThePanjabLibrary is a digital archive of Punjabi literary works — novels, poetry, and historical writing — made freely available to read and download, alongside biographies of the writers who created them.
It exists because a meaningful share of Punjabi literature is scattered, out of print, or simply hard to find online. This is a small, ongoing effort to bring it into one place.
Punjabi Literary Preservation
Language and literature carry a culture's memory. As readership shifts and older editions go out of print, there's a real risk that Punjabi literary works — and the writers behind them — become harder to access with each passing generation. ThePanjabLibrary is an attempt to slow that down: digitizing and cataloguing what we can, and making it available to anyone who wants to read it, free of charge.
A Nonprofit Initiative
ThePanjabLibrary is a nonprofit initiative dedicated to the digital preservation and dissemination of Panjabi literary and historical treasures. It's supported by minimal, non-intrusive advertising and reader donations, which go toward hosting costs, digitization work, and keeping the archive free and ad-light for everyone who visits.
